How to Trim, Fit & Care for Your New Insoles
A 10-minute setup for better comfort and longer insole life.
Step-by-Step Fit
- Remove factory liners: Take the thin sockliner out of your shoes.
- Trace and trim: Place the old liner on the new insole, trace the toe, trim small amounts first.
- Test the length: Insert and check for toe room; re-trim if needed.
- Seat the heel: Make sure the heel cup sits flat with no curling.
- Wear-in: Start short, then build up to full day or long run.
Fit Checks
- Toes can wiggle; no bunching at the front.
- Arch feels supported—not poking or cramping.
- Heel doesn’t lift when walking.
Care & Cleaning
- Air dry after use; remove from shoes overnight.
- Spot clean with mild soap + water; avoid machines.
- Rotate between two pairs to extend lifespan.
- Replace if top cover peels, foam compresses, or odor persists.
